Hi! I'm so glad you are here.
My name is Cassandra Kleefman, I am a Registered Psychologist at Transcend Psychological in Edmonton, Alberta. I specialize in sexual health, with expertise in pelvic pain, "dysfunctions", and intimacy challenges. I support clients through concerns like infidelity, low desire, erectile difficulties, and chronic pain. My work also extends to relationship-building, self-esteem, "addictions" (i.e. porn, sex), and sexual trauma. Working primarily with individuals and couples, Cassandra facilitates a support and psychoeducational group for pelvic pain throughout the year as well.
I weave science and story in my no-hold-back approach to therapy, helping people reclaim pleasure and connection within themselves and with their partners. I use humor and warmth in my work with individuals, couples, and groups. I blend evidence-based methods with an experiential, process-driven perspective, that integrates philosophical, existential, emotional, and acceptance-based techniques in support of my client's journey. I always prioritize the therapeutic relationship, creating a space where growth feels meaningful and safe. Advocacy and psychoeducation are central to my practice, ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
I offer in-person sessions in Edmonton and virtual appointments across Alberta, with availability from Tuesday through Saturday, including morning, afternoon, and evening time slots.
